Variable-Frequency Feeding System
Fitted with a VFD variable-frequency screw feeder and an enlarged feed inlet, our chicken feed pellet making machine effectively avoids material bridging and blockages. Optimized for fluffy materials like hay and straw, its screw pitch adapts to raw material moisture and thickness to auto-adjust feeding speed.
Consistent steady feeding eliminates feed flow instability that impairs pellet forming, sustaining smooth pelleting. It works exceptionally well for hard-to-process high-fiber feeds such as grass and straw powder with variable moisture levels.
Conditioning System
This chicken feed pellet mill supports custom configuration of 1–3 layers of 304 stainless steel conditioning vessels equipped with optimally angled stirring blades.
Saturated steam at 160–180°C can be injected to maintain a conditioning temperature of 75–90°C, with retention time tunable between 30 and 120 seconds.

What types of chicken feed can this chicken feed pelletizer produce? Is it suitable for chickens at different growth stages?
The RICHI ring die feed pelletizer can produce various types of chicken feed, including starter feed, grower feed, layer feed (laying period, brooding period, molting period), breeder feed, etc. The pellet size can be customized: 2mm for chicks, 3-4mm for layers and broilers, and 5-6mm for medium and large chickens. It can perfectly meet the feeding and nutritional needs of chickens at different growth stages.
How long can the produced pellet feed be stored? Will it easily mold or break?
After the finished pellets are processed by the cooler, the moisture content can be controlled at ≤12%, and they have undergone high-temperature cooking and sterilization. Under normal moisture-proof storage conditions, they can be stably stored for a long time without easily molding. The equipment uses alloy steel ring dies and double rollers for extrusion molding, resulting in high pellet formation rate, high density, and smooth surface. They are less likely to break during transportation and storage, with a low powdering rate, reducing feed waste.
