Counter-Flow Pellet Cooler
Whether in animal feed or biomass pellet production lines, the counter-flow cooler is an essential piece of equipment. It cools hot finished pellets down to room temperature before packaging, ensuring stable shaping without loosening and facilitating seamless bagging and storage.
According to different customer needs, RICHI designs different equipment models.
Pellet Cooler for Sale
The counter-flow pellet cooler is the core downstream cooling equipment of RICHI pellet production lines.

Cooled Finished Pellet Production
Our pellet cooling machine cools, dehumidifies and shapes high-temperature, high-moisture pellets discharged directly from pellet mills, ensuring qualified final products.
Adopting the counter-current heat exchange principle, cold air flows upward while hot pellets move downward for full reverse contact. It delivers uniform cooling and thorough dehydration, preventing caking, mildew and cracking. It effectively improves pellet hardness and storage stability.
Perfectly compatible with ring die pellet mills, feed mixers, screening machines and other auxiliary equipment, it forms a fully automated production process: Pelleting — Cooling — Screening — Finished Storage. It is widely used for feed pellets, biomass pellets and forage pellets.
Finished Pellet Temperature:Indoor Temperature+3~5 ℃

FAQs
Should you have any questions, RICHI will provide you with professional answers.
What are the advantages of a pellet cooling machine compared with ordinary cooling equipment?
The counter-flow heat exchange structure is an advanced industrial solution for pellet processing. Cold air and high-temperature fresh pellets make full reverse contact to realize uniform internal and external cooling and deep dehumidification.
It solves common problems of conventional concurrent cooling, such as incomplete internal heat dissipation, pellet softening and recurring caking. Cooled pellets feature stable temperature and moisture, higher hardness and better surface finish, effectively extending shelf life and avoiding mildew or breakage.
What types of pellets can be cooled? Is the application range wide?
RICHI counter-flow pellet coolers offer strong versatility and wide compatibility. It is suitable for all high-temperature molded pellets, including livestock and poultry feed pellets, wood biomass pellets, straw and forage pellets. It adapts to various pellet diameters and material types, meeting multi-product production demands with one single unit.
Does material residue easily accumulate inside? Is daily cleaning convenient?
The cooling chamber adopts smooth inner walls without dead corners, combined with balanced pneumatic discharging for thorough material discharge and extremely low residue. Quick-opening maintenance doors enable fast and convenient internal cleaning.
It effectively prevents residual materials from deteriorating and contaminating subsequent batches, making it ideal for mixed production of multiple pellet types and formulas.
