Main Structure
RICHI pellet mills consist of several core functional systems.
Components: Storage bin, stirring auger, variable-frequency drive, anti-bridging agitator
Functions: Break up fluffy, high-viscosity, bridging-prone raw materials for uniform, steady feeding. Variable frequency adjusts feed rate to match main unit load and eliminate bin blockages, material interruption and wall adhesion. Heavy-duty stirring is standard for high-moisture sticky materials like organic fertilizer and tofu cat litter.
Feeding System
Components: Conditioning cylinder, steam pipeline, temperature & pressure sensors, oil spraying nozzleFunctions: High-temperature steam heats and humidifies materials to fully gelatinize starch, improving feed digestibility and pellet bonding strength. Fish oil can be evenly sprayed for aquafeed. Biomass lines only require slight humidification for forming; organic fertilizer lines normally exclude conditioning units.
Batching System
Components: Main motor, reduction gearbox, roller assembly, ring die, spindle water cooling, pressure regulator
Working Principle: Materials are forced through ring die holes by rollers and shaped via high-pressure friction compression.

Pelleting Main System

Functions: Hot, high-moisture extruded pellets are cooled and dehydrated by counterflow cold air to increase hardness and resist mildew. Fines are screened and recycled for re-pelleting to guarantee uniform finished pellets. Centralized dust collection cuts material loss and improves workshop conditions.

Animal Feed Pellets
Feed from RICHI machines undergoes high-temperature conditioning for full starch gelatinization and enhanced animal digestion. Dense pellets contain little dust to reduce flock respiratory illnesses, resist mildew in storage and avoid clogging automatic feeding pipelines. Fats and trace mineral premixes can be added on demand for consistent nutrition per pellet.
Biomass Pellets
RICHI-produced biomass fuel pellets achieve high density for stable calorific value and full combustion with minimal ash, serving as a clean replacement for coal and gas. Strictly controlled moisture between 8% and 12% prevents mildew and spontaneous combustion for safe storage and long-distance transportation. Meeting international environmental emission standards, they turn wood chips, crop straw and other agricultural and forestry wastes into valuable fuel, with consistent pellet size enabling smooth automatic boiler feeding without blockages.
Organic Fertilizer Granules
Organic fertilizer pellets made by our equipment feature compact uniform texture, resisting breakage and dust loss during transport and mechanical spreading. High-temperature conditioning matures organic materials for slow nutrient release to improve soil health, while eliminating weed seeds, mold and parasite eggs to reduce crop diseases. These pellets are moisture-proof, space-efficient for low-cost logistics, and support flexible formulas from livestock manure, straw and other raw materials to fit farmland, greenhouse and seedling cultivation.
Animal Bedding Particles
Animal bedding pellets processed via RICHI production lines can absorb liquid up to 3–4 times their own weight, keeping barns dry, inhibiting bacterial growth and absorbing harmful odors to lower livestock disease rates. With low dust and soft texture, they avoid animal respiratory issues and limb injuries. Used bedding mixed with manure can be recycled into organic fertilizer to form an eco-friendly circular economy, and the low-moisture finished pellets are easy to store and suitable for both manual and automated laying.
