Sawdust Making Machine
As vital preprocessing equipment for RICHI full biomass pellet lines, the sawdust making machine is engineered to pair with ring die pellet mills. It shreds branches, lumber, wood scraps, straw, rice husks and timber waste into consistent fine sawdust, supplying qualified feedstock for pelleting. This machine is essential for manufacturing animal bedding and biomass fuel.
According to different customer needs, RICHI designs different equipment models.
Sawdust Making Machine for Sale
The sawdust making machine is one of the supporting auxiliary equipment independently developed by RICHI for ring die pellet mills.

Crushed Wood Chips
The sawdust making machine adopts a horizontal high-speed hammer mill design, delivering high crushing efficiency and steady, consistent output.
Paired with the MZLH series pellet mills, it builds a full production workflow: coarse shredding, fine crushing and pelleting. The combination boosts overall line stability, throughput and pellet quality while offering excellent cost performance.

FAQs
Should you have any questions, RICHI will provide you with professional answers.
What raw materials can this sawdust machine crush? Is it suitable for hard wood and thick branches?
RICHI sawdust making machine features wide material compatibility. It directly crushes soft wood and hard wood such as pine, fir and oak, as well as branches, bark, wood blocks, wood waste, straw, rice husks and palm fiber. Thick branches can be fed directly without pre-shredding and will not cause jamming.
Is the output size adjustable? Can it meet the requirements of MZLH350 / MZLH420 pellet mills?
Yes. By replacing curved screen meshes with different apertures, the discharging fineness is adjustable within 2–8mm. The conventional 3–5mm finished size fully matches the pelleting standard of MZLH350 and MZLH420 ring die pellet mills, with no need for secondary crushing.
What safety protection measures are equipped?
Full protective covers for the transmission system to prevent accidental contact;
Anti-rebound feeding baffles to avoid material splashing and injury;
Maintenance interlock device; the crushing chamber can only be opened after shutdown to ensure operator safety.
What regular maintenance is required?
Check motor and transmission lubrication daily and replenish oil in time;
Regularly clean residual materials inside screens and crushing chambers;
Inspect wear of hammers and screens and replace worn parts timely;
Clean adsorbed metal impurities on the iron removal device periodically.
