Pellets produced by the shrimp feed pellet machine feature the following advantages:
- Stable granules with high durability (low PDI) and minimal dust; they do not disintegrate after prolonged immersion in water, thereby preventing water pollution;

Variable Frequency Feeding System
Equipped with a widened polished stainless steel hopper for anti-sticking and smooth feeding. The independent variable-frequency screw enables stepless speed adjustment to match different formulas and production capacities. A top magnetic iron remover effectively eliminates metal impurities and protects ring dies and rollers.
Multi-layer Conditioning System
Equipped with a standard three-stage conditioner, it ensures the finished product meets required cooking standards. The barrel and paddles are constructed from 304 stainless steel; the staggered paddle arrangement extends material retention time, allowing for precise temperature control while ensuring thorough gelatinization and sterilization of raw materials—making it suitable for processing high-protein, high-fat shrimp feed formulations.
Ring Die Pelleting Main Unit
Adopts 42CrMo carburized alloy ring die and aquaculture-specific optimized rollers, perfectly matching the compression ratio for fine shrimp pellets. The quick-clamp ring die structure enables fast die replacement. High-strength alloy gear transmission ensures low noise and stable operation. Thin cutting blades deliver clean pellet cuts with minimal fines.
Driving & Automatic Control Unit
Equipped with a Siemens main motor—with optional 6-pole or 8-pole low-speed, high-torque configurations—it effortlessly handles high compression ratios. Features such as PLC control, automatic lubrication, and fault self-diagnosis enhance operational safety; the unit can also be integrated into a complete feed production line for coordinated control.
Optional Auxiliary Equipment
RICHI also offers auxiliary equipment—such as ultra-fine pulverizers, granulators, and oil/astaxanthin spraying and coating systems—which you can select and configure according to your production line requirements.

What pellet sizes can be produced? Does the finished feed meet export standards?
The machine produces micro-pellets from 1 mm to 3 mm, covering the whole growth cycle from shrimp larvae to adult shrimp. With triple-layer steam conditioning and optional post-curing technology, the pellets achieve full starch gelatinization, excellent water durability and low fines rate, fully meeting international commercial and export aquafeed standards.
Can this machine handle high-protein and high-oil shrimp formulas without die sticking?
Yes. Equipped with a variable-frequency anti-blocking feeding system and 304 stainless steel multi-stage conditioner, the machine fully matures high-protein and high-fat materials. The shrimp-feed-specific ring die and roller compression ratio effectively reduce die sticking. The pellet forming rate can reach over 98% with minimal fines.
What are the wearing parts? Is maintenance convenient?
The main wearing parts are ring dies and rollers. The quick-release clamp structure enables fast die replacement and easy cleaning, greatly reducing downtime. RICHI provides global after-sales support, including remote guidance, operation training and overseas on-site commissioning.
Can heat-sensitive additives such as astaxanthin and probiotics be added before pelleting?
No. High-temperature conditioning will destroy active ingredients. We support post-pellet vacuum coating system. Heat-sensitive nutrients including fish oil, probiotics and astaxanthin are sprayed after cooling to maintain maximum activity and produce high-value functional shrimp feed.
