What’s the difference between feed-grade and fuel-grade straw pellet production?
The main machines are identical; only conditioner temperature differs. Feed pellets use 80–90℃ low temperature to retain nutrition; fuel pellets adopt higher temperature to fully soften lignin for higher pellet density and hardness.
How to deal with fresh straw with super high moisture?
Pre-drying is compulsory. Rotary dryers reduce moisture from 30%–40% to the optimal 15%. Natural air drying is feasible in arid regions but needs large storage yards; dryers are essential for rainy humid areas.
How long is the service life of ring die?
Service life varies by raw material. Straw with high silicon causes faster abrasion than wood. RICHI high wear-resistant alloy ring die has better cost performance than ordinary molds and can be shipped globally as spare parts.
